Sāvatthinidānaṃ . ‘‘Cakkhuṃ, bhikkhave, aniccaṃ vipariṇāmi aññathābhāvi; sotaṃ aniccaṃ vipariṇāmi aññathābhāvi; ghānaṃ aniccaṃ vipariṇāmi aññathābhāvi; jivhā aniccā vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī [vipariṇāminī aññathābhāvinī (?)]; kāyo anicco vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī; mano anicco vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī. ‘‘Yassa kho, bhikkhave, ime dhammā evaṃ paññāya mattaso nijjhānaṃ khamanti, ayaṃ vuccati – ‘dhammānusārī, okkanto sammattaniyāmaṃ, sappurisabhūmiṃ okkanto, vītivatto puthujjanabhūmiṃ; abhabbo taṃ kammaṃ kātuṃ, yaṃ kammaṃ katvā nirayaṃ vā tiracchānayoniṃ vā pettivisayaṃ vā upapajjeyya; abhabbo ca tāva kālaṃ kātuṃ yāva na sotāpattiphalaṃ sacchikaroti’. 舍卫城缘起。"诸比丘,眼是无常的、变化的、异变的;耳是无常的、变化的、异变的;鼻是无常的、变化的、异变的;舌是无常的、变化的、异变的;身是无常的、变化的、异变的;意是无常的、变化的、异变的。诸比丘,若有人如此信仰、确信这些法,此人称为随信行者,已入正性决定,已入善士地,已超凡夫地;不可能造作会导致投生地狱、畜生道或饿鬼界的业;在证得预流果之前不可能命终。"
"诸比丘,若有人以智慧如是审察、接受这些法,此人称为随法行者,已入正性决定,已入善士地,已超凡夫地;不可能造作会导致投生地狱、畜生道或饿鬼界的业;在证得预流果之前不可能命终。诸比丘,若有人如是了知、如是见到这些法,此人称为预流者,必定不堕恶趣,决定趣向正觉。"第一。
